Ingredients:

For the Hot Honey Halloumi Bites:

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 block of halloumi, cubed
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 tsp chili flakes (adjust to taste)
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Juice of 1 lemon

For the Skewers:

  • Green olives
  • Sun-dried tomatoes (use smaller cherry sun-dried tomatoes, or slice regular ones in half)
  • Fresh basil leaves

Instructions:

Cook the Halloumi:

  • Heat a pan over medium heat and add the olive oil and halloumi cubes. Stir gently to coat the halloumi in oil.
  • Drizzle the honey over the halloumi and sprinkle with chili flakes. Allow the halloumi to brown on all sides, flipping as needed until golden and crisp.

Add Lemon Juice:

  • Squeeze the juice of 1 lemon into the pan and stir to coat the halloumi in the flavorful brine. Remove from heat and set aside.
