We all know and love the classic olive oil and balsamic mix for dipping bread, right? Well, think of this glorious Bread Dipping Oil as that, but on steroids. Levelled up with feta, fresh herbs, garlic, honey, and so much more – it’s perfect for pairing with warm, crusty bread! Get ready to be as obsessed as I am.

Ingredients:
- ½ cup extra virgin olive oil (add more if need or desired)
- 1 small shallot, finely minced
- 2 cloves garlic, finely minced
- 1 tablespoon capers, roughly chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped
- 2 tablespoons crumbled feta cheese
- Salt and freshly cracked black pepper, to taste
- ½ teaspoon chili flakes (adjust to taste)
- ¼ teaspoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon honey
Instructions:
- Prepare the Base:
In a small mixing bowl/serving dish, pour the olive oil as the base. Ensure it’s high-quality for the best flavor. - Flavorful Add-Ins:
Add the minced shallots and garlic to the olive oil. Let them sit for a minute to infuse the oil with their aroma. Then stir in the chopped capers, dill, and chives. - Balance the Flavors:
Add the crumbled feta cheese, a pinch of salt, and a few twists of freshly cracked black pepper. Adjust the seasoning to taste but go light on the salt initially since the feta and capers are naturally salty. - Add Heat and Sweetness:
Sprinkle in the chili flakes or paprika for a hint of spice, then stir in the honey for a touch of sweetness to balance the bold flavors. - Brighten and Deepen:
Finish with balsamic vinegar and fresh lemon juice for acidity and depth. Mix gently to combine all the flavors. - Serve and Enjoy:
Serve with warm, crusty bread for dipping – I love a baguette or ciabatta!
